Age Divisions:
★ Tiny Miss (ages 2-3)
★ Little Miss (ages 4-6)
★ Young Miss (ages 7-9)
★ Pre-Teen Miss (ages 10-12)
★ Jr. Miss (ages 13-15)
★ Miss (ages 16-22)

Areas of Competition:
Outfit of Choice - Contestants must wear a costume of choice that best fits their personality. This is nice, casual wear. Clothing must be age-appropriate and in good taste.
On-Stage Question - Contestants will be asked an on-stage question based on their application.
Private Interview (Miss Division Only) - Contestants will participate in a 5-minute panel interview with the pageant judges.
Prepared Fair Speech (Miss Division Only) - Contestants must prepare and memorize a 30-second speech about the Amelia County Fair.
Photogenic (Optional) - Contestants will mail a headshot or photo (5x7) of themselves along with this application. Please send a copy as this picture will not be returned.
2025 Rules and Regulations:
★ Contestants must be born female.
★ Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and a Virginia resident. Proof of residency may be requested.
★ Contestants must never have been involved in any activity characterized as immoral.
★ Contestants must be between the ages of 2 and 22 and provide a copy of her birth certificate.
★ Contestants must be single and never have been married.
★ Contestants must have never performed any act or engaged in any activity or employment that is or could reasonably be characterized as dishonest, immoral, or indecent. This includes Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and any/all web pages or other electronic means.
★ Contestants must be of good moral character and never have been pregnant and are not now pregnant nor the adoptive parent of any child.
★ A contestant, other than minor or petty offenses, must never have been convicted of any criminal offense, and there are no pending criminal charges against her.
★ Contestants must not use or consume any illegal controlled, dangerous substances or abuse the use of alcohol, tobacco, vaping or other dangerous substances.
★ Contestants must submit a completed application, waiver, copy of birth certificate, and entry fee – postmarked no later than May 17, 2025.
★ The winners in each age group must participate in the fair’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony after the pageant (7:00 pm).
★ Miss Amelia County Fair is required within reason to participate/appear at the following events: Amelia Day, Tractor Parade, Harvest Festival, and the 2026 Amelia County Fair Scholarship Pageant.
★ Miss Amelia County Fair is required to represent the Amelia County Fair while competing at the 2026 Miss Virginia Association of Fairs Pageant, which will be held in January of 2026 at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, VA.
★ Miss Amelia County Fair may not hold any other pageant titles throughout her reign.
★ Judges decision is final. All contestants must arrive at the Amelia County Fairgrounds at 5:00 pm and check in with the pageant director at the Main Stage. There will be a short practice and interviews for the Miss Division.
